University? Really?

Dan Casey of the Roanoke Times website has a fun contest going — YES, you CAN actually win something!

The contest is to come up with a new name for the late Jerry Falwell’s Liberty University.

I submitted a few, namely:

  • Lynchburg College of Bronze-Age Studies
  • The University for Medieval Beliefs and Practices
  • The Falwell Institute for Myth-information

Anyway, I shouldn’t be the only one having all this fun, so why not head on over to Dan Casey’s Weblog, and have a whack at it yourself?

  1. I particularly like "The Falwell Institute for Myth-information". It works so well literally, as well as on the pun level.
